I’m a software engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a minor in Business Administration from Texas State University.
My foundation lies in full-stack development, where I’ve built and deployed web applications using Python (Flask), Firebase, and modern front-end frameworks like React and Vite.
Throughout my academic journey and personal projects, I’ve tackled real-world problems across system administration, network management,
and embedded computing using Raspberry Pi. These experiences taught me the value of clear documentation, security-conscious design, and user-first thinking.
I’ve also explored data analytics and cybersecurity, developing skills in SQL/MySQL, statistical modeling, and network traffic analysis.

Engineered a full-stack platform using OpenBeta’s GraphQL API to map 4,991+ climbing routes across a hierarchical PostgreSQL data model. Optimized API performance from ~800ms to ~150ms using EF Core DTO projections and eager loading. Implemented geospatial search with Haversine distance and an interactive Google Maps interface with custom async loading patterns.
Developed a multi-phase data pipeline using a Playwright-based web crawler to extract and normalize job market data. Engineered a robust database schema with 8+ relational tables in Oracle and MySQL, implementing complex JOINs, subqueries, and views for data analysis. Integrated local LLM parsing (Ollama) to transform unstructured web data into structured SQL records for automated inventory management.
Flask REST API ingests Spotify tracks and maps Reccobeats BPM data to age-based ranges. Automated playlist creation via Spotify OAuth flow with graceful token refresh and error handling.
Full-stack; Flask delivers JSON/Markdown API; front-end renders MDX posts, fast refresh via Vite; full SEO routing.
Secured platform with .edu-restricted Firebase Auth and granular Firestore rules. Engineered real-time chat via Firestore subcollections and streamlined releases via Bitbucket Pipelines to Heroku.
